Frequently Asked Questions

I am an Extension Engine client, does COVID-19 impact our work?

Other than more virtual meetings than in person, we do not expect this to impact our ongoing work with you, our customers. As with many digital organizations, our team has the ability to work remotely and often does so as a matter of practice. Additionally, we have chosen to restrict our knowledge workers from travel to reduce any possible impacts to your organization and ours.

Our organization has been impacted by COVID-19. We need online learning resources and/or capacity. How can Extension Engine help?

Our team has logged 500,000 hours on over 150 digital learning projects and although we prioritize building remarkable learning experiences, we’re happy to engage in conversations about how online learning could help you through these immediate challenges.

If you want to discuss your organization’s needs, fill out the form on this page and we’ll reach out to you.

What advice can you give to organizations who need to quickly digitally transform learning experiences due to COVID-19?

As you prepare contingency plans to serve your learners and instructors, keep in mind that there is a difference between true digital transformation of a quality learner experience that enhances your brand versus standing up remote learning quickly in response to campus or organizational shutdown.

This does not mean you can’t use digital tools and practices to address the challenges and constraints posed by pandemics like COVID-19. Teaching and learning remotely are not the same as providing well developed digital learning, but there are many tools you probably already have available and practices you can adopt quickly to help provide continuity for your learners and instructors during this uncertain time. But it’s also important to consider the long game at the same time so that you ensure any emergency response has minimal disruption to your overall online learning strategy.

If you want to discuss your strategy for responding to COVID-19, fill out the form on this page and our team will reach out to you.

We now realize that we need to seriously commit to moving many courses online for the fall and beyond. Can you help us in the short term and over a longer planning horizon?

We can help you in the short term set up a plan for remote learning and then execute against that plan. And then we can help you come up with a plan for building your capacity to handle the bigger effort over the upcoming year.

I have a project that is not impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak. Will you still work with my organization? Who should I talk with?

Yes, Extension Engine is still working on projects unrelated to COVID-19. You can contact our team by submitting the form on our contact us page.
